An exciting opportunity awaits for a meticulous and driven Bookkeeper to join our clients administration department. They are seeking a candidate with a strong knack for accounting and bookkeeping duties, who is passionate about maintaining financial accuracy and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Record day-to-day transactions, including capturing expenses invoices on an accrual basis.
  • Assist in the preparation of payroll.
  • Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements.
  • Perform creditor reconciliations and manage payments.
  • Oversee debtors book.
  • Support the treasurer with foreign exchange transactions.
  • Manage and maintain management accounts.
  • Assist in compiling budgets for all Games.
  • Establish and maintain a fixed asset register.
  • Collaborate with auditors during annual audits.
  • Prepare financial reports.

Requirements

  • Proactive and energetic demeanor.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Honest, trustworthy, and capable of working under pressure.
  • Independent and self-motivated with strong time management skills.
  • Excellent numerical aptitude.
  • Grade 12 (Matric) qualification.
  • Tertiary education, such as a Bachelor's degree, will be advantageous.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of accounting software preferred.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and computer literate.
