Description

The Sales Manager is responsible for managing overall sales activities within the sales department at retail operations. This includes planning, analyzing, and developing sales strategies, as well as coaching, supporting and developing the sales team to achieve targets and deliver value to customers, contributing to the organizations profitable growth.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and Execute Sales Strategies :

  • Align sales strategies with organizational goals.
  • Establish and communicate objectives for the sales team.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities, taking proactive measures.
  • Ensure achievement of sales objectives and manage operational costs effectively.

Structure Sales Operations :

  • Implement and maintain a structured sales process to ensure proactive and efficient operations.
  • Develop policies and handbooks to guide the sales team.
  • Systematically identify new customers and opportunities.

Lead and Motivate the Sales Team :

  • Set KPIs and individual targets for team members and provide regular feedback.
  • Coach and develop the sales team to enhance their performance.
  • Promote a positive, goal-oriented working environment.

Foster Collaboration :

  • Organize cross-departmental cooperation to ensure a unified approach to customer service.
  • Encourage a team-selling approach while maintaining alignment with company objectives.

Drive Innovation and Improvement :

  • Promote creative solutions and new approaches within the sales team.
  • Share best practices and lessons learned to enhance overall performance.

Requirements

Desirable Experience and Qualifications

  • Higher education in sales or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven track record in sales and sales management.
  • Valid drivers license (B, C categories).

The Sales Manager will interact with:

  • Sales team and colleagues in other regions.
  • Dealer Manager, workshop teams, and back-office support.
  • Customers, finance partners, and external stakeholders.

Guidelines and Standards

  • Follow company sales processes and strategies.
  • Utilize sales tools and IT systems effectively.
