Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Refrigeration Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing refrigeration systems, while ensuring top-quality service to our clients. The technician will also play a key role in training and mentoring students to build a skilled workforce for the future.

• Install, maintain, and repair refrigeration systems and equipment
• Perform routine inspections to ensure the proper functioning of refrigeration units.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose refrigeration and electrical system faults, providing timely repairs.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and environmental regulations in all service and installation tasks.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and system performance.
• Provide training and mentorship to students, enhancing their practical skills and knowledge in refrigeration.
• Stay updated on new technologies, tools, and industry standards related to refrigeration and electrical systems.

Requirements

• Valid Driver's License .
• Computer Literate (ability to use various software and tools for reporting, diagnostics, and customer interaction).
• Electrical Certification, Diploma, or Degree or related fields. (mandatory).
• Fluent in Afrikaans (both verbal and written communication).
• Strong knowledge of refrigeration systems, including electrical and mechanical components.
• Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.
• Previous experience in training or mentoring students is a plus.
• Certification in refrigeration systems or related fields.
• Previous experience in both industrial and residential refrigeration installations.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
