About CSFC

Chief Santos FC is a voluntary association community Football Club based in the Copper Town of Tsumeb founded in 1969. Chief Santos FC recently expanded its scope to include football development from grassroot level for boys and girls aged 7-18 and Women's Football.

Primary Purpose of the Role

Support the Technical Director (TD) with the overall development, implementation and supervision of coaches and players development programs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide feedback to club executive regularly
• Develop, implement and analyze training plans
• Devise match strategies, and player development programs.
• Plan and lead practice sessions, ensuring players maintain fitness and adhere to training schedules
• Maintain player and team records
• Recruit new talent for the football club and academy
• Mentor players to develop sportsmanship and respect for the game on and off the field
• Foster a positive and inclusive team culture and develop team-building activities to enhance team cohesion
• Communicate effectively with players, club executive, and other stakeholders
• Maintain the equipment and facilities to ensure safe playing conditions
• In conjunction with relevant coaches organize and deliver off season programs
• Assist with registration and program administration, including equipment orders.

Requirements:

• Coaching Accreditation CAF D or C Coaching License
• Coaching Accreditation CAF B Coaching License will be added advantage
• Proven track record of successful team management
• Previous experience playing or coaching soccer at a competitive level First Division and Premier League
• Ability to use video analysis and other modern coaching tools
• Profound understanding of soccer rules and regulations
• Ability to manage and inspire a diverse group of players
• Excellent organizational and managerial skills
