Senior Social Worker

Counselling and Child Protection Department:

Post Designation: Senior Social Worker

Period: One-year fixed term (Renewal)

Closing Date: 23rd January 2025

Location: Windhoek, Head Office

Minimum Requirements:

• BA degree in Social work, with more than 5 years' experience in the field.
• Registration as a Social worker with the social worker and Psychology Council.
• A valid driver's license (Code B)
• Have a valid designation certificate.

Supplementary Requirements:

• Knowledge and Experience in Child Protection and Case Management.
• Extensive experience in Mental Health and Counselling.
• Experience in project coordination and management

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic coordination for child protection within the counselling department.
• Coordinate child protection program development and strategic growth of child protection within the department to ensure targets and goals are met.
• Control and supervise the work of social worker and ensure they are scheduled according to requirements.
• Review and update social work and child protection documentation regularly for completeness and accuracy.
