Description
We are looking for a Key Accounts Manager who will play a critical role in managing and nurturing key client relationships. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth, ensuring customer satisfaction, and identifying new business opportunities. Additionally collaborate with various internal teams to deliver the highest level of service and support to our clients.
Responsibilities
- Operate as the lead point of contact between customers and products
- Identify and develop new in-store activities to increase sales
- Introduce new products to current as well as prospective dealers
- Set overall targets for each dealer, with specific targets for individual products
- Conduct training with dealer staff on listed lines as well as any new products
- Investigate and obtain new business with independent dealers
- Ensure stock levels are correct and stock is merchandised accordingly at current dealers
- Analyze sales data to identify key areas of opportunity and concerns
- Exceeding monthly sales targets
- Actively communicating with customers
- New business penetration and development
- Resolving customer queries
- Conducting needs analysis and presenting the dealer with a one-stop shop business solution
- Managing an effective call cycle
- Prospect for potential new clients and turn this into increased business.
- Cold call as appropriate within your market or geographic area
In-Store Activities
- Take full advantage of any in-store branding, activities, and promotions to ensure maximum brand exposure and sales on our lines
- Ensure that aged stock is merchandised correctly to increase sales and avoid returns
- Encourage retailers to participate in promotions by implementing staff incentives as directed by management.
Staff (At Dealers)
- Ensure all retail staff are trained on listed lines
- Provide sales support and guidance to retail sales staff
Requirements
- Matric Certificate
- Diploma / Certificate in Sales/Marketing
- 2-3 years sales experience (preferably in FMCG) with a successful track record
- Experience in merchandising
- Dynamic, strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Bilingual in both English and Afrikaans
- High attention to detail and structured individual by nature
- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Ability to create strategic action plans and follow through to completion to support the regional as well as national sales and marketing strategy
- Own car with a valid drivers license
