Quantity Surveyor

Description

• Prepare and manage cost estimates and budgets for projects of varying size and complexity.
• Conduct detailed cost analysis, including tendering and cost reporting.
• Oversee contract administration, including valuations, variations, and payments.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Provide advice on value engineering and cost-saving initiatives.
• Lead cost management discussions and negotiate with clients, contractors, and suppliers.
• Assist in preparing and presenting final accounts to clients.
• Mentor and support junior quantity surveyors and other team members.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5-10 years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor , preferably with expertise in civil, mechanical, or electrical engineering fields.
• A degree in Quantity Surveying or in related engineering fields.
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts, cost estimation, engineering quotations, project planning and construction planning.
• Hands-on experience working on site and familiarity with project execution.
• Proficiency in Chinese is preffered but not mandatory.
• Demonstrable experience in handling complex and large-scale projects.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
