Operations Officer (Walvis Bay)

Description

We are looking for an experienced Operations Officer to help us implement the right processes across the company and enable business growth. Responsibilities

• Oversee efficiency of operational processes on different sites
• HR/IR matters
• Participate in strategic planning and goal-setting for various business functions, including customer support
• Analyze business requirements and customer needs
• Research methods to improve operations and reduce costs
• Monitor and report on department performance
• Supervise and train employees
• Administrative functions
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulation

Requirements

• Matric Grade 12 (6 subjects) Passed
• 2-5 years previous experience in a supervisor /manager role
• Hands-on experience implementing operational processes
• Excellent project management skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Knowledge of operational principles and policies
• Knowledge of the Namibian Labour law
• Organisational skills and attention to detail
• Team leadership
• A degree in operations management or business administration is a plus
• Drivers licence and or C1 with GP
• Computer literate
• Must stay in Walvis Bay
