Description
Our client is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Solar Service Technician/Foreman to join their team of solar specialists to ensure a greener future.
Your primary responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Installing and servicing of both grid-tied & off-grid solar PV systems
- Service and maintenance trips to remote sites across the country
- Site inspections and subsequent project management
- Installation team supervision and management
- Assist in on site design of electrical layouts, AC-, DC-, P&ID- single line diagrams, structural & civil components
Requirements
Skills & Attributes Required:
- Solid understanding of networks & IT
- Solid understanding of electricity & energy flow
- Able to read engineering drawings
- Professional communication skills and neat records keeping
Other requirements:
- Namibian Citizenship
- Divers License (CE would be an Advantage)
- Be able to communicate in English and Afrikaans
- Good Medical Record
- Able to work overtime/weekends as needed
