Senior Sap Consultant: Production Planning Job Job Details | O&L

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

To render senior-level support services for the SAP Production Planning module within the O&L group of companies and act as SAP subject matter specialist to ensure efficient and effective SAP system usage.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• 3-year Degree in a relevant Business area or Business Process Management.
• 3-5 years experience in a Production environment.
• SAP ERP knowledge, Certified in at least one SAP module.
• Sound knowledge of Supply Chain fundamentals.
• Integration experience.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Business Process Analysis & Implementation

• Perform internal audits on business processes as per process model.
• Translate and implement business requirements into SAP System Specifications.
• Improve and streamline business processes to maintain business requirements.
• Implement on-going process controls to maintain system and data integrity.
• Coordinate and keep track of master data, functional and process quality assurance.

Keep up with System developments

• Identify industry / Operating Company best practice for implementation.

• Updating personal skills and keep up with business trends.
• Research upgrades, functionality / enhancement not in use.

Support of end Users

• Attend to end user incidents according to SLA agreements.
• Develop and maintain IS based business reporting.
• Provide expert advice on SAP functionality.
• Suggest solutions to customer based on best business practices.

Projects

• Manage projects according to the Project charter.

Facilitate Training

• Facilitate ad-hoc process training to end-users; and develop and maintain training documentation.

Other dutiies

• Assist SAP team members with cross functional support (Supply Chain) as required.
