PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
Responsible for the maintenance and repair Heating, Ventilation, & Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems and equipment throughout the portfolio.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Grade 12 certificate
- At least three years experience in maintenance & repair of HVAC systems
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Conduct routine maintenance & repairs of air conditioners.
- Troubleshooting issues with electrical and mechanical components of HVAC systems.
- Draw up preventative maintenance schedules for air conditioners for properties under management to ensure maximum lifespan of equipment.
- Execute preventive maintenance schedules and procedures for all HVAC equipment, including changing of filters and cleaning condensers and coils.
- Perform duct cleaning as needed.
- Receive and complete relative work orders.
- Maintain accurate records per tenant on time spent and tenant sign off for filter services to ensure that recovery billing is accurate.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and materials.
- Inspect own jobs upon completion and ensure areas are clean.
- Work with building principals and supervisors to complete filter services.
- Inspect third party service provider service delivery.
- Assist with minor aircon related maintenance as and when required by Properties.
- Logging of all call outs, filter services and major service on maintenance system.
