Quality Control Inspector – Casing And Tubing

Description

Our client is seeking an experienced QC (Quality Control) Inspector specializing in casing and tubing within the oil & gas sector . The successful candidate will be a Namibian national with a minimum of 5 years of experience in quality control for oil & gas or mining operations. This role is critical to maintaining the high standards and safety of our operations by ensuring that all materials and processes meet industry specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect and verify the quality of casing and tubing used in oil & gas operations to ensure compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
• Conduct inspections at various stages, including incoming material checks, in-process inspections, and final product reviews.
• Record and report inspection results, highlighting any defects, non-conformities, or areas for improvement.
• Work closely with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
• Maintain thorough documentation of inspections and certifications.
• Ensure adherence to oil & gas industry safety and quality standards.
• Stay updated on the latest regulations, standards, and best practices within the oil & gas industry.

Requirements

Skills and Qualifications:

• Namibian Citizen .
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in QC inspection within the oil & gas or mining industry, specifically with casing and tubing.
• Strong understanding of mining and oil & gas quality control procedures and industry regulations.
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to identify defects and quality issues.
• Strong communication skills for reporting and coordinating with teams.
• Proficiency in using inspection tools and equipment.
• Ability to work independently and within a fast-paced environment.
