Description

Identify the staffing needs within the Division.

Identify the training needs of staff members and make recommendations to the Director General Services.

Responsible for the timely compilation of Regional Council agendas and minutes.

Ensure timely dissemination of notices and correspondence.

Responsible for the compilation of the divisional budget.

Responsible for fleet, asset, records management and information technology system.

Responsible for the development of the management plan for the Division.

Ensure adherence to procurement procedures.

Ensure the interpretation and application of relevant legislations policies and regulations on administrative matters.

In charge of all administrative matters.

Responsible for communication of Council decisions to relevant directorates/stakeholders.

Make sure that the Regional Council has an inviting image.

Compile and submit monthly, quarterly and annual reports to the Director.

Coordinate with line ministries on the implementation of administrative programmes.

Responsible for the coordination and implementation of Regional Emergency Management Unit activities.

Direct and coordinate activities in the Constituency offices and settlement areas.

Provide support services to the Governors office.

Requirements

A B. Degree at NQF L7 plus nine (9) years of appropriate experience in Business Management/Administration or Public Management/Administration or B. Degree in Logistics.

Additional requirements: Qualification at NQF L8 in Procurement Management or any procurement related qualification at NQF L8, from a recognized institution plus five (5) years appropriate experience at a Control Administrative Officer Grade 6. Candidate must have experience in Sage 200 Pastel Evolution and proof must be attached.
