Responsibilities
- Received claim/loss forms and notification.
- Appoint assessor / loss adjustor.
- Communicate progress on claim files with assessors, team members and insureds.
- Complete internal claims process documentation and estimation on internal claims management system.
- Notify large losses to insurers
- Update claims progress and estimates according to an online diary system.
- Prepare claims payments and submit to finance.
- Submit claim payments and proof of payments.
- Negotiate with suppliers/contractors regarding replacements and/or repairs.
- Obtain salvages and update systems.
- Submit files for recovery where required.
- Respond to claims queries.
Requirements
Requirements
- Grade 12.
- At least 8 years 'within the Short-Term insurance with min of 5 years experience in Claims.
