MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

To provide the End user departments (EUDs) with recruitment and selection services by coordinating functions related to recruitment and selection process to meet SUs objectives.

Key Performance Areas:

  • Advise the EUD on vacant roles to be recruited and ensure they are within the approved Workforce Plan.
  • Prepare all necessary documents for advertisement.
  • Download job applications, log and shortlist based on prescribed criteria and forward to EUD for their input.
  • Make all logistical arrangements related to interviews and assessments.
  • Obtain all relevant information from shortlisted candidates before the interview process.
  • Conduct reference checks and qualification authenticity checks on recommended candidates.
  • Prepare pre-employment packs for recommended candidates for offering.
  • Engage and consolidate with successful candidates on sign-on documentation.
  • Make sure that all pre-employment documentation, evaluations as well as on-boarding logistics are arranged.

Requirements and experience:

  • Grade 12 or current NSSCO with 20 points over 5 subjects.
  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources or Industrial Psychology or related Social Science degree.
  • 3 Years working experience in an HR Environment.
  • Valid Code B or BE Drivers License.
