MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
To provide the End user departments (EUDs) with recruitment and selection services by coordinating functions related to recruitment and selection process to meet SUs objectives.
Key Performance Areas:
- Advise the EUD on vacant roles to be recruited and ensure they are within the approved Workforce Plan.
- Prepare all necessary documents for advertisement.
- Download job applications, log and shortlist based on prescribed criteria and forward to EUD for their input.
- Make all logistical arrangements related to interviews and assessments.
- Obtain all relevant information from shortlisted candidates before the interview process.
- Conduct reference checks and qualification authenticity checks on recommended candidates.
- Prepare pre-employment packs for recommended candidates for offering.
- Engage and consolidate with successful candidates on sign-on documentation.
- Make sure that all pre-employment documentation, evaluations as well as on-boarding logistics are arranged.
Requirements and experience:
- Grade 12 or current NSSCO with 20 points over 5 subjects.
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources or Industrial Psychology or related Social Science degree.
- 3 Years working experience in an HR Environment.
- Valid Code B or BE Drivers License.
