LOCATION: WALVIS BAY

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

To ensure manpower effectiveness and effective planning, directing and supervision of all Quality Control related activities. Ensures safe working conditions and that product and process meet statutory requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Grade 12 .
• A Degree in food safety, microbiology , food technology, food science or related life sciences.
• At least 5 years work experience in wet fish areas with 2 in supervisory level .
• Added advantage working in the FMCG industry .

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Follow up on corrective action reports to ensure that preventive action measures are effective.
• Conduct Quality control related training to the quality control team.
• Enforce required regulations and practices in all areas of the production process .
• Ensure that equipment is in required working condition and Report equipment irregularities and breakdowns .
• Analyze internal reports to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Ensure Quality team effectiveness .
