Position summary
Introduction
Responsible for selling of products & services (assets, liabilities & insurance) growth in line with the branch set targets to existing and new customers. To administer and ensure compliance with all sales practices, whilst maintaining required productivity levels within the branch.
Job description
1. Sales Focus
- Proactively market and sell all deposits and loan products, insurance and digital channels.
- Arranges branch sales blitz to drive customer acquisition
- Prepares and submits credit applications for the retail clients
- Ensures accurate and submission of clean KYC and related administrative documents in line with the standard operating procedures
- Conducts presentations to potential and existing clients on all scheme products.
- Responsible for the growth and profitability of the Branch customer base by achieving and exceeding branch targets.
- Responsible for strategy enforcement of both upsell and cross selling of products and services
- Initiating on reactive sales actions like contacting existing customers for cross-selling opportunities (included: specialised products, e.g. money market products)
- Responsible for achieving objectives as allocated by line manager
2. Customer Focus
- Conducts regular scheduled client visits
- Continuously log all customer feedback on Manage Engine, and promptly resolve them so as to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Ensures that both internal and external clients are treated in a professional manner, and that information provided to them is correct and timely given
- Ensures that the branch accurately files and secures customer documentation for easy retrieval.
- Cross Selling Bank Products.
3. Administration
- Management of diary items in accordance with prescript procedures and requirements of the Bank
- Accurate compilation and preparation of all client related administrative documents and ensure that all instructions are correct and carried out as stipulated
- Accurate completion of applicable power of attorney/mandates and signing arrangements.
- Ensuring that all documents are received and system entries correctly completed when opening accounts.
- Closing/transferring of accounts for walk-in customers.
4. Credit
- To ensure correct details of the following:
- Analysing financial information, financial structuring, credit evaluation &assessment and collateral documentation
- Preparation of applicable documentation for credit facilities
- Ensuring that contracts are complete and legally correct.
Minimum requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Business or any other related field
- COP Long & Short
- Certificate in Credit/ Banking will be an added advantage
