Description
The candidate should have Business Development experience, a proven track record of closing transactions at the C-suite level, a focus on client service, B2B engagement and experience in organization and team management.
Knowledge Requirements:
- General Knowledge: Inter-telecommunications
- Product Knowledge: Fibre infrastructure and ICT sector
- Sector Knowledge: Fibre, Namibian telecommunications, and financial services

- Meeting Arrangement & Sales Pitching: Ability to engage with C-level executives
- Organizational Communication
- Self-Motivation: Ability to reach targets independently
- Market Development: Identifying and developing new markets
Key Activities:
- Lead Generation: Through canvassing, networking, and other methods
- Quotations & Presentations: Preparing quotes and presentations for ISPs and clients to sign up for fibre backhaul and IPT
- Client Engagement: Engaging with ISPs, IT Service Providers, and other institutions requiring fibre connectivity
- Project Oversight: Managing dark fibre development projects with key stakeholders and EPC partners
- Sales Administration: Enhancing sales administrative efficiency
- Reporting: Direct reporting to company directors and shareholders
- Event Participation: Attending and facilitating promotional events
Requirements
- 5+ years of B2B C-level sales experience
- Engagement in engineering and procurement activities
- Experience managing multiple work streams
- Proficiency in managing CRM software
- Familiarity with Office 365
Education :
- A commercial degree with experience in the ICT sector
- Preferably an engineering degree
- An MBA is highly desirable
