Position summary

Introduction

Provide leadership and oversee the development and dissemination of technology to help improve and increase business and to ensure technologies are used appropriately. Develop, implement, manage, and evaluate the Groups technology resources. This role impacts the whole of Capricorn Group Ltd in that activities significantly influence all top management teams. Externally, this role is required to engage with industry stakeholders in discussions and negotiations which significantly affect the course of activities of the Groups business environment.

Job description

• Information Technology Strategy Development and Implementation resulting in visible support to the Groups growth strategy through Technology.

• Business Management - managing the Infrastructure platform like a business, resulting in the security and stability of the information technology systems and the operational availability of the system Groupwide.
• Ensuring System Effectiveness ensuring improved customer experience.
• People and Divisional Management - ensuring the equitable distribution of responsibilities and accountabilities through appropriate human capacity and full utilization for all projects within Group IT.

Minimum requirements

• 15 years experience in IT in a high-volume environment
• Five to seven years in a senior management Information Technology role
• A Master of Business Administration degree is considered advantageous
• Project Management experience
