Hot Pot & Deli Sales Assistant Job Job Details | O&L

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

To assist with the production and preparation of specialties; ensure that Pick n Pay merchandising and promotional standards are maintained, that display and preparation areas are clean and tidy and to provide excellent customer services at all times.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Grade 12 Certificate.
• Food handling/preparation or retail experience will be an advantage .

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Ensuring that displays are according to prescribed standards: QDVP4.
• Ensure that daily demands of the department are met.
• Ensure that product quality meets the required standards.
• Ensure that all specialities are timeously and tastefully prepared.
• Ensure that all specialities have shelf labels and that displays are attractively and tastefully presented.
• Excellent Sales and Customer service.
• Ensure that stock is continuously rotated and stored safely.

SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Must be pro-active.
