Bakery Production Assistant Job Job Details | O&L

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

To assist with the production of diversified bakery products.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Grade 12 Certificate.
• Experience in a retail and/ or bakery environment will be an added advantage.
• Must be able and willing to work at odd and irregular hours and in a hot environment.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Meet daily production schedules.
• Ensure required quality and weight control.
• Efficiently produce a variety of products with the desired quality, consistency and dedication.
• Reduce waste by correct utilisation of equipment and ingredients.
• Ensure that a speedy and effective service is rendered to customers.
• Assist customers with enquiries and queries on stock and application/use of products

SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES

• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to see tasks through as per the required standards.
