PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

To ensure all duties are carried out effectively, efficiently and speedy to enhance customer satisfaction, loyalty and to increase frontline productivity.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Grade 10 Certificate.
• 1 Year experience in a retail environment.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Ensure that goods are packed in the right way at the till points.
• Ensure that there are always trolleys and baskets at the entrance for the customers to use.
• Handle customer queries with friendliness, honesty, accuracy andpoliteness.
• Ensure cleanliness at the frontline.
• Get correct prices for items which are not priced or do not scan correctly at till point.

SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES

• Good interpersonal skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Must be customer orientated.
