Position summary

Introduction

Responsible for disbursement of loans, monitoring of incoming settlements and accounts closure, management of CPDP and BOTUSAFE processes, ensuring refunds are processed every month and query resolution.

Job description

1. Loan Disbursement

Disbursement of loans within 48hrs.
Reconciliation of payments disbursed and loans approved.
Ensure compliance with the lending policy of the company.
Attend to returned funds
Send out proof payments
Ensure files are KYC complaint.
Maintain query register related to disbursement.
Be vigilant and on the guard for fraud.
Reporting of fraud incidents immediately.
Aim to meet monthly set targets.

2. Incoming & Outgoing Settlements

Ensure loans are closed immediately funds are received.
Reconcile the settlement accounts.
Retain clients and reduce settlements

3. Accurate & Timely Reporting

Guide the team to develop standard and ad hoc reports and metrics as required
Daily reports Sales and Settlements
Cancelled loans reports
Rejected loans reports and reasons thereto.

4. CPDP and BOTUSAFE process &Data Capturing

Management of data capturing
Ensure all loans erroneous captured Creditec are deleted.
Check if each client have one loan at a time in the system.
Preparation and submission of Official deduction consent forms.
Preparation and payments of refunds
Manage Settlement and approval loans in CPDP system.
Maintain Error register for Data Capturers

Minimum requirements

Bachelors Degree in Business related qualifications

Mininum of 2 years in Microlending/Banking

Experience as Disbursment Officer will be an added advantage
