Merchandiser (Retail)

Position Overview:

The Retail Merchandiser will be responsible for optimizing the presentation of products, managing inventory, and enhancing the overall customer experience in our stores. This role involves ensuring that our merchandise is displayed in a way that drives sales and meets company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Product Placement: Implement effective merchandising strategies to display products attractively and in line with company guidelines.
• Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, manage product rotation, and ensure timely replenishment.
• Visual Merchandising: Create engaging and visually appealing product displays and layouts.
• Sales Analysis: Review sales data to identify trends and adjust merchandising strategies accordingly.
• Collaboration: Coordinate with store managers and suppliers to support promotions and in-store events.
• Customer Experience: Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming store environment.
• Training: Assist store staff with merchandising techniques and product knowledge.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Education: Minimum of Grade 12 (G12) or equivalent.
• Experience: At least 2 years of experience in a retail merchandising role or similar.
• Skills: Strong understanding of retail merchandising principles; proficient organizational and analytical skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Technology: Must have a smartphone for communication and reporting purposes.
• Attributes: Creative, detail-oriented, and dedicated to providing excellent customer service.

• Candidates from the Otjiwarongo region will be given preference.
