PURPOSE OF POSITION

To maintain and repair all electronic, electrical and mechanical plant machinery and equipment s according to planned maintenance modules and ad-hoc machine breakdownsin order to support Factory efficiencies.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT :

• A qualified Millwright (N3) with a Trade Certificate in Millwright .
• 2 - 3 years trade practical experience within FMCG environment.
• Experience working in an FMCG environment will be an added advantage.

KEY JOB OUTPUTS:

• Perform weekly and monthly inspections on machines, equipment factory infrastructure.
• Repair identified machine faults within the Factory.
• Conduct machine services regularly as prescribed by the PM (Preventative Maintenance) modules and Service manual.
• Perform accurate fault finding on machinery using information gathered from Operators and machine manual.
• Identify and analyze root cause on breakdown of machinery.
• Repair and replace parts or report to line manager where needed.
• Replace damaged circuit breakers and isolators as reported.
• Repair cables damages in and around the premises of Factory.
• Perform on-the-job training to employees on start-up procedures and day to day basic machine maintenance as requested by line manager.
• Complete attendance registers and on the job training form when training and submit to Line Manager.
• Advise employees on how to correctly handle and operate the machines to avoid damages.
• Maintain good hygiene in line with HACCP requirements.
