Purpose of the Position:


Mix and prepare all juices, by-products, and yoghurt according to recipes, production plan ISO standards, and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).


Qualifications & Experiences:

  • Grade 12
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar position

Preferred Advantages:

  • Experience in a FMCG environment.

Key Accountabilities:

Preparation and handling of equipment

  • Ensure that pre-production care occurs before production runs.
  • Check that tanks are marked to eliminate packaging of wrong products.
  • Collection, mixing, and recording of juices, by-products, and yoghurt according to the production plan and ISO standards.
  • Coordinate and administer the smooth running of the mixing and blending process.
  • See to it that the mixing of standardized milk occurs correctly.
  • Keep all mixing records by ensuringthat all areaccurately completed and filed.
  • Check that all step controls are done for all mixed products.
  • FIFO and LIFO should be done daily.
  • Taking samples to the laboratory for chemical and micro-testing.
  • See to it that sampling occurs per the sampling plan or lab request.
  • Deliver on product quality is maintained.

Administration

  • Submit records of all milk received from pasteurizing operators, in holding tanks.
  • Keep all CIP/COP records.
  • Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
  • Maintain a state of constant personal hygiene.
  • General assistance will be required by the Team Leader Processing if and when needed.
  • Adhere to operational requirements when needed to work overtime or week.

Health & Safety

  • Maintain maximum safety by adhering to Company safety standards and procedures.
  • Responsible for ensuring that the working area is clean and tidy.
  • Adhere to hygiene and that it is in line with HACCP.
  • Clean area of operations at all times.
  • Clean, inspect, and disinfect equipment after use.
  • Wear full PPE before the commencement of duty.
