Description
We are seeking for a dedicated Floor Sales Assistants to join our team. This position will focus on specific areas of expertise and will play a crucial role in maintaining our high standards of customer service and stock management.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist customers with inquiries related to electrical and hardware products.
Provide expert advice on product selection and usage.
Manage stock levels and ensure effective merchandising in the electrical and hardware section.
Conduct stock taking and maintain accurate inventory records.
Support other departments as needed, especially in emergency situations.
Requirements
Knowledge : Fair knowledge of electrical and hardware merchandise is essential. Additional knowledge of other hardware and building materials is a plus.
Education:
Minimum Grade 12 certificate. with in D English
NQF Level 1 3 Certificates in General Electrical
Skills:
Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with customers respectfully and effectively.
Basic computer skills for stock checking and data entry.
Experience in stock taking and inventory management.
Ability to control and merchandise stock in the assigned area.
Flexibility to work in various departments as needed.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Commitment to maintaining good housekeeping and contributing to overall health and safety.
