Description
We are seeking a dedicated Safety Officer to join our team.
Responsibilities include:
Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) and ISO guidelines.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to maintain compliance.
Advisory:
- Advise on safety measures and best practices.
- Develop and implement safety policies.
Risk Assessment:
- Perform risk assessments to identify potential hazards.
- Enforce preventative measures to mitigate risks.
Workplace Safety:
- Promote a safe workplace culture.
- Lead initiatives to enhance workplace safety and health.
Training:
- Provide comprehensive safety training to employees.
- Conduct safety drills and workshops.
Incident Investigation:
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses.
- Prepare reports and recommend corrective actions.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- A qualification in risk and safety management is preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in a safety officer role.
- Strong knowledge of OHS and ISO guidelines.
