PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:


Coordinate and implement fit for purpose training programs to enhance organizational capability aligned with the Talent and Development Strategy. Responsibilities include developing the annual training plan and L&D budget, administering study assistance programs, NTA Levy claims to support organizational growth and employee development.


QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE :


  • Bachelors Degree in Human Resource Management or Industrial Psychology and related fields.
  • Minimum 5 years relevant work experience with a minimum of 2 years experience in planning, organising and executing L&D and/or OD projects
  • MS Office proficient
  • Experience using competency and capability assessment and evaluation instruments
  • Knowledge of the NTA Levy Process
  • Driver's license
  • Train the trainer/Assessor/Moderator qualification will be an added advantage.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES :


  • Engage and partner interdependently with businesses to develop the annual Talent Development plan and coinciding budget.
  • Conduct research and provide insight into training methodologies, delivery methods, and relevant adult learning techniques to enhance development success.
  • Plan, administer, and coordinate overall experiential learning programs to address immediate and long-term development needs.
  • Oversee and monitor the implementation of the annual development plan.
  • Compile monthly and annual progress reports for reporting purposes.
  • Advise and align on program obstacles and solutions.
  • Plan and administer the Talent Development Budget and Cost Centre.
  • Coordinate Career Development Process for Groups and Individuals.
  • Utilize analytics and people feedback insights to plan and develop capability and resource retention programs.
  • Provide insight and support to succession initiatives and programs.
  • Administer and coordinate long-term strategic programs and talent pools.
  • Administer and implement study assistance and study loans for employees.
  • Administer the Understudy Development Program.
