Job Description

Main Purpose of role

With guidance, assists in the execution of the communication and events that need to take place under the strategic and sustainability plans of the office.

Key Performance Areas:

  • Assist in producing and implementing marketing material, including but not limited to relevant digital content to be used online and internally.
  • Assist with plans and execution of Deloitte events from start to finish.
  • Uses information through research, documentation, and standard processes to provide output on deliverables.
  • Proactively provides innovative ideas and opportunities for delivering more effective marketing initiatives.
  • Preparing reports and presentations for various stakeholders
  • Ensures that the following competencies are displayed in all engagements and interactions:
    • Take ownership and conduct tasks with a sense of urgency to ensure all tasks are completed timeously.
    • Ensure communication with relevant stakeholders is proactive and regular.
    • Proactively identify tasks that need to be undertaken in the process.
    • Ensure all tasks are conducted with attention to detail.
    • Proactively manage difficult situations by appropriately escalating the matter to the line manager.
    • Ensure all work that is delivered is of the highest quality.


Required Qualification

  • Namibian/ domicile/ permanent residency.
  • Degree in a Marketing related field (Communication, Media, Public Relations, Business Administration)
  • Minimum grade average of 65%
  • CV and full academic transcript to be attached
  • Availability of minimum of 10 months

Key Competencies required:

  • Highly organized, with the ability to effectively multi-task, prioritize and plan own work to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office suite knowledge, in particular, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Knowledge and understanding of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, and Twitter) and how they should be used for the relevant target audience.
  • Excellent writing and grammar, across a variety of media and audiences
  • Strong creative and editorial skills, with a proven ability to create and adapt content and copy to fit a target audience.
  • Ability to adapt to changes and sustain a high level of energy & concentration.
