Paratus Telecommunications currently has a vacancy for a Sales Executive Retail based in Ongwediva.

Roles and responsibilities:

  • Maintain and develop a good relationship with customers through personal contact or via telephone etc.
  • Capture sales process on the digital back-office system.
  • Record sales and order information and report same to the Sales Department.
  • Recording of cash and bank transactions and issuing receipts.
  • Cash up and reconcile on daily basis.
  • Ordering, reordering and receipt of stock
  • Reconciliation of stock with cash and bank receipts.
  • Weekly and monthly stock take.
  • Safe storage and lock away of stock
  • Liaise with clients at all levels and dealing with client requests in a timely manner
  • Maintain and develop existing and new customers through appropriate proposals and sales methods
  • Manage existing Key Customer Accounts and maintain relationships with new Accounts; and
  • Develop, communicate and increase sales performance with new incentives and to plan and carry out local marketing activities when needed

The minimum requirements for the position are as follows:

  • Grade 12.
  • 1st Line Customer Relations/Customer Care experience.
  • Microsoft Office proficient (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
  • IT experience will be an advantage.
  • 2 4 years experience in retail sales will be an added advantage.
  • Valid drivers license.
