We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our clients culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking, strong leadership abilities and a minimum of 5 years of management experience in a similar role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Executive Chef in menu planning and development.
  • Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food quality and presentation.
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Manage inventory, ordering, and cost control.
  • Create and execute a 4-course meal during practical cooking assessments.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen.

Requirements

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of management experience as a Sous Chef.
  • Strong culinary skills with a focus on contemporary and classic cuisine.
  • Proven ability to create and execute a 4-course meal.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Passion for food and a commitment to excellence.
  • Culinary degree or relevant certification is preferred.

Working Hours:

  • 6-day work week, 45 hours per week.
  • Weekends off are provided additionally if operations allow.
