Job Description

A PSYCOLOGIST AT DEBMARINE NAMIBIA:

  • Provides onsite and virtual psychotherapeutic services as required.
  • Provides mental health support to the workforce and other wellness services.
  • Provides health and psycho-social therapy as per individual or group needs.
  • Conducts psychological assessments (use of standardised psychometric tests and accepted projective techniques).
  • Formulates treatment plans to determine psychotherapeutic approach for different psychological circumstances.
  • Recommends mental health programmes and tools to the Wellness Manager.
  • Designs and implements approved prevention and treatment programmes in the relevant scope of practice.
  • Facilitates and conducts psychoeducation sessions as part of continuous mental health.
  • Adheres to code of ethics related to psychologists to ensure professional conduct, safeguard client confidentiality, and maintain integrity in all aspects of practice.
  • Designs and reviews psychoeducational material.
  • Conducts research on mental health-related topics to implement leading practice.
  • Conducts research on mental health-related topics and their impact.

Qualifications

THE CANDIDATE MUST MEET THE FOLLOWING EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Master's degree in Psychology (Clinical Psychology will be an advantage).
  • Qualified Psychologist registered with HPCNA.
  • 6 years relevant work experience.
  • Relevant experience working in a corporate environment will be an added advantage.
  • Valid code BE driver's license.

Experience in program development
