LOCATION: WALVIS BAY
To ensure that the fish samples submitted to the laboratory for testing are tested according to established standards and results are released without delay .
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Grade 12 .
- A bachelors degree or Related Diploma in food safety, microbiology , food technology, food science or related life sciences.
- At least 2 years work experience in a microbiological laboratory environment .
- Added advantage working in the FMCG industry .
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Aseptic product sampling according to the sampling plan .
- Microbiological testing of water, Fish and all hygiene monitoring swabs .
- Organoleptic inspection on product .
- Chemical, consumable and equipment inventory for the Lab ,
- Equipment verification .
- Recording and reporting results.
- Instruments verification and administrationof laboratory duties .
