Paratus Telecommunications currently has a vacancy for a Marketing Product & Segment Officer in Windhoek.

Roles and responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies, including market analysis, target audience identification, competitive positioning, and marketing mix strategies.
  • Oversee product launch management, covering planning, development, execution, and post-launch analysis to ensure successful market entry and adoption.
  • Collaborate with the Product Development team to gain in-depth knowledge of product features, benefits, and unique selling propositions to create compelling marketing messages.
  • Develop segment-specific marketing strategies to effectively promote products and services to consumer segments (High Value, Middle Value, Mass Market) and business segments (Enterprise, Corporate, SMME).
  • For consumer segment marketing, focus on high-value, middle-value, and mass segments for mobile (LTE, 5G) and fiber (FTTH, FTTX). Utilize TV, radio, print, out-of-home materials, digital, and social media channels.
  • Conduct market research and consumer analysis to identify the needs and preferences of each segment and develop targeted marketing strategies.
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends, competitor activities, and product innovations to identify new opportunities for product marketing and segment-specific campaigns.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of each products features, benefits, and target segments to inform campaign strategies.
  • Continuously monitor and report on the effectiveness of product-specific and segment-specific marketing campaigns, making recommendations for improvements as needed.
  • Work outside Windhoek.

The minimum requirements for the position are as follows:

  • Strong understanding of product marketing and experience in developing campaigns that highlight product features, benefits, and unique selling propositions.
  • Expertise in customer segmentation and experience in tailoring campaigns to specific segments, including consumer (High Value, Middle Value, Mass Market) and business (Enterprise, Corporate, SMME) segments.
  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing, with a strong focus on product marketing and segment-specific marketing strategies.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful product marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, social media, and traditional media.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal teams and external agencies.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
    Experience in managing relationships with external agencies and coordinating marketing campaign development and execution.
    Valid Drivers License.
