Paratus Telecommunications currently has a vacancy for a New Product Development & Management Officer in Windhoek.
Roles and responsibilities:

Product Development and Management:
o Define product offerings, develop new products, and enhance existing products for consumer segments (HV, MV, Mass Market) and business segments (Enterprise, Corporate, SMME), leveraging experience with relevant systems and technologies.
o Develop tailored propositions to meet the unique needs of different consumer and business segments, focusing on increasing ARPU, optimizing customer experience, reliability, scalability, and cost-effectiveness. -
Market and Consumer/Business Insights:
o Conduct in-depth market research, competitor analysis, and consumer/business needs assessment to understand segment needs, preferences, and identify opportunities for differentiation and growth.
o Develop data-driven product propositions and offers that resonate with target consumer and business segments -
Go-To-Market Strategy:
o Develop and execute go-to-market plans for new product launches and enhancements, collaborating with marketing, sales, and channel partners.
o Define value propositions, pricing models, and promotional strategies to drive adoption and revenue growth. -
Product Performance and Lifecycle Management:
o Monitor product performance using key metrics such as revenue, margin, customer adoption, and satisfaction.
o Analyze product usage data to identify trends, optimize features, and drive continuous improvement - Work outside Windhoek.
The minimum requirements for the position are as follows:
- Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Telecommunications, Engineering, or a related field. A Masters degree or MBA is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of product management experience in the telecommunications industry, with a strong focus on both consumer and business products and services.
- Deep understanding of telecommunications technologies, including LTE, 5G, FTTH, FTTB, data center services, VoIP, and other relevant solutions.
- Proven track record of successfully launching and managing products that drive revenue growth and customer satisfaction in both consumer and business segments.
- Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage senior executives effectively.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage complex stakeholder relationships.
