PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

To provide comprehensive financial support in all aspects of the project management chain and will primarily support the financial and investment analysis of renewable energy projects.


QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelors Degree in business, finance, accounting, or economics, or any finance related degree and 5 years relevant experience. Experience in corporate finance, project finance would be an advantage.
  • Advanced MS Excel knowledge, Professional finance related knowledge required, gained through tertiary education and relevant experience.
  • CFA/Certified Financial Modelling and Valuation Analyst (FMVA) certification will be advantageous.


KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

    • Populating the financial models within given parameters to support in extensive financial and project analyses of renewable energy assets.
    • Collect, collate, and analyse data from internal and external sources and compile the financial model/projection for all projects within given deadlines.
    • Develop and optimize excel-based models by integrating technical and commercial parameters.
    • Conduct market research studies and populate all relevant templates with data gathered from external sources (Economists and financial research houses).
    • Analyse data and prepare financial reports with recommendations on opportunities and improvements for senior management.
    • Develop and present corporate presentations with marketing deliverables to senior management for decision-making.
    • Ability to collect and analyze data and interpret findings into easy-to-understand language.
    • Compile project memoranda, teasers, proposals, and presentations according to the required standards in support of all projects.
    • Fully support business developer with tender admin and financial component requirements and management of submissions.
    • Make recommendations and provide input into the development of market/project studies under the consideration of political, legal, and financial frameworks.
    • Attend to any reasonable request made by Senior Management, Directors, or Shareholders.
