Maintenance Officer Job Job Details | O&L

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

Responsible for the maintenance of the buildings. Completes preventative maintenance, installs new equipment, and assists with routine building maintenance, building inspections and ensure the quality of work done.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Grade 12 certificate
• 5+ years of experience in the building-Maintenance environment
• Drivers License Code B (Compulsory)

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Responsible for the resolution of all maintenance/operational related issues for the properties assigned.
• Ensure that all maintenance related issues are dealt with timeously, cost effectively and received/completed at the highest possible standard.
• Pick up general parts from suppliers with purchase orders for repairs and ensure invoices/delivery notes are handed to line manager daily.
• Ensure that all work areas and grounds are clean, secure, and well maintained.
• Continuously checks and inspects buildings to identify maintenance needs across all properties assigned.
• Respond promptly and efficiently to tenant maintenance requirements.
• Assist line manager with all building related inspections daily/weekly/monthly.
• Ensure all HSE Rules and regulations are adhered to when performing any work tasks.
• Ensure all tools are kept in a good condition and secured when working on properties.
