Description

We are recruiting on behalf of a prominent player in the FMCG industry, specializing in dry food products. We are seeking qualified candidates for the position of Warehouse Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Supervise day-to-day depot operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch of dry food products.
  2. Lead and motivate warehouse staff to achieve performance targets, including productivity, accuracy, and safety goals.
  3. Plan and organize manpower and resources to optimize efficiency and minimize costs.
  4. Maintain accurate inventory records through regular stock counts and reconciliations.
  5. Implement and enforce health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all staff.
  6. Oversee maintenance of depot facilities and equipment, coordinating repairs and servicing as required.
  7. Collaborate with logistics partners to coordinate inbound and outbound transportation activities.
  8. Monitor product quality and compliance with relevant regulations, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  9. Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings initiatives.
  10. Prepare regular reports on depot performance, including key metrics such as inventory levels, order fulfilment rates, and operational efficiency.
  11. Liaise with other departments, such as sales and procurement, to coordinate activities and resolve issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience in a supervisory role within the FMCG or warehouse industry, with specific experience in dry food products preferred.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and coach a diverse team.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Sound knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management principles, and health and safety regulations.
  • Proficiency in using warehouse management systems and MS Office applications.
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact confidently with internal and external stakeholders.
