We are recruiting on behalf of a distinguished client specializing in high-quality baked goods production. Our client is committed to excellence, innovation, and delivering delicious products to their customers. They are seeking a skilled and dedicated Baker to join their dynamic team.
Our client is looking for an experienced Baker to work in their production factory. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in baking and mixing, as well as experience working with production equipment. You will be responsible for producing a variety of baked goods while ensuring high standards of quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Baking and Mixing: Prepare and bake a variety of products according to recipes and production schedules.
- Production Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain bakery production equipment, including mixers, ovens, proofers, and packaging machines.
- Quality Control: Ensure all baked goods meet quality standards and specifications. Conduct regular checks and adjustments to maintain consistency.
- Recipe Adherence: Follow recipes accurately and adjust as necessary to produce consistent results.
- Efficiency: Work efficiently to meet production targets and deadlines without compromising quality.
- Sanitation and Safety: Maintain a clean and organized work area. Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Inventory Management: Assist with inventory management, including receiving and storing ingredients and supplies.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure smooth production processes and address any issues promptly.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Baker in a production environment.
- Proficiency in mixing and baking techniques.
- Familiarity with bakery production equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of safety and sanitation regulations.
- Ability to lift and move heavy bags of flour and other ingredients.
- Available to start working immediately.
- Must reside in Windhoek.
- Willing to work shifts.
