Network Administrator

Paratus Telecommunications currently has a vacancy for Network Administrator in Windhoek.

The position entails the following:

• The successful candidates will be working as a strong team player, supporting the full range of Paratus products and services available to the client.
• The ideal candidate is an individual who can work in a fast-paced industry, who is young and dynamic with the will and power to succeed.
• Escalation of firewalls and critical links to relevant departments.
• Maintain and amend line tags on Network Monitoring Systems.
• Managing credentials for Network Monitoring Systems.
• Manage and maintain IP address allocations.
• The individual should be capable of prioritising and managing own workload; and
• Be able to analyse problems and conduct effective fault diagnosis and system recovery.

The minimum requirements for the position are as follows:

• Bachelor in Computer Science / Networking.
• Basic Linux / UNIX skills ideal but not essential.
• CCNP certified.
• 2 3 Years experience in similar field.
• Proficient in English (Additional languages will be advantageous).
• Drivers licence.
