Description

  • Ensure all engagements with NSFAF and other corporate sponsors are consistent with guidelines and requirements.
  • Provide expert support on all matters relating to bursary, loan, and grant funding, and advise the financial accountant and finance manager of any changes that could impact institutional planning.
  • Maintain and organize reliable records of bursaries, loans, and grants.
  • Work in close collaboration with the Student Representative Council to ensure cohesion and continuity of service delivery.
  • Consult with the campus administrators to ensure that the information used to prepare the NSFAF collection invoices is accurate and complete.
  • Timeously prepare valid, accurate, and complete NSFAF collection invoices.
  • Address NSFAF invoice-related queries as soon as possible.
  • Make sure to resubmit the claims containing queries promptly.
  • Allocate NSFAF and other corporate sponsor payments to the respective student or customer accounts.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree (NQF L7) majoring in Accounting.
  • At least two (2) years of experience in student loan or bursary administration.
  • Advanced knowledge and skills in Microsoft Office applications
  • Attention to detail.
  • Experience creating and maintaining records.Experience in database creation and management.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
