Job Description

A HUMAN RESOURCES SUPERINTENDENT OD & TALENT AT DEBMARINE NAMIBIA:

  • Facilitates organisational development workshops and initiatives to support Leadership Development, Change Management, Employee Engagement, Affirmative Action, Job Evaluation and Performance Management.
  • Maintains the DBMN Performance management system in accordance with DBMN policies and procedures to ensure a fully functional system.
  • Facilitates the development and updating of job descriptions.
  • Coordinates job analysis and evaluation using the company job evaluation systems.
  • Co-ordinates the training systems and processes of Graduates & Engineers-in-Training to ensure successful completion of their development programmes.
  • Manages the skills development initiatives for Graduates, Leadership Development, and OD initiatives to ensure that the operations skills requirements are met.
  • Implements development initiatives in line with company's policies and relevant Acts to ensure compliance.
  • Implements Affirmative Action Policies, guidelines and programmes in the Company.
  • Coordinates the Namibianisation process in terms of training and development by evaluating options, determining needs and implementing initiatives.
  • Coordinates the understudy process and facilitates the designing of understudy development plans and implementation to support successful completion of understudy development.

Qualifications

THE CANDIDATE MUST MEET THE FOLLOWING EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Degree in Human Resources Management/ Development or Behavioural Science
  • 6 years HR related experience including at least 3 years Organisational Development (OD) experience.
