Ict Systems Engineer

Paratus Telecommunications currently has a vacancy for a ICT Systems Engineer in Windhoek.
Roles and responsibilities:

• Routine deployment and support per standards set by Systems Core Engineers for:
  • IT Services related to:
    • Paratus Hosted Services
    • Other Paratus customer services (WAN, LTE, etc)
    • Paratus Office internal systems
• Perform delegated routine maintenance.
• Accurately maintain documentation of IT infrastructure complying with ISO 27001 standards
• 2nd level technical support to Systems Support and Systems Installations departments and ensure SLA times are adhered to for such escalated support tickets.
• Assist system core engineers and administrators, as well as systems support and installation staff, with their duties as required to meet project deadlines and customer service levels.
• Adhere to all customer SLA requirements.
• After-hours technical support standby for systems core infrastructure, Hosted Services, and Systems Installations and Systems Support staff.
• Renew and/or upgrade qualifications as required to stay relevant with advances in technology and industry.
• Adhere to procedures and standards as set out by Paratus management.

The minimum requirements for the position are as follows:

• Fortinet NSE 4.
• MCSA Server.
• A+, N+, CCNA or IT Diploma.
• 5 years in IT technical support or administration.
• 3 years implementing and maintaining server and security platforms.
• Driving license and own transport.
• Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert
• Valid Drivers Licence
