Main Responsibilities:

  • Administration of HR-related tasks.
  • Managing general office administration.
  • Capturing and loading supplier invoices and payments.
  • Cashflow forecast reporting.
  • Managing housekeeping of office areas.
  • Assisting with the purchasing of general office consumables and ad hoc purchases.
  • Bank card reconciliations.
  • Supplier statement reconciliations.
  • Stock take processing and capturing.
  • Assisting management with tea and coffee for meetings if required.
  • Answering company phones and transferring calls where required.
  • General filing and administration.
  • Performing routine administration related to the Production environment as required.
  • Overseeing and participating in the manufacturing of cosmetic products if necessary.
  • Ensuring formulations comply with manufacturing documents and giving clearance to fill batches.
  • Ensuring GMP compliance in the manufacturing environment and lab.
  • Complying with and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Controlling deviations according to SOPs.
  • Administration of relevant paperwork including maintenance and organizing of logs & records.
  • Ensuring laboratory equipment is maintained and calibrated.
  • Routine testing and data capturing.
  • Maintaining registers and manufacturing-related paperwork.
  • Stock takes of inventory used for manufacturing.
  • Problem-solving of stock take discrepancies.
  • Maintaining Quality Control standards in both laboratory and manufacturing environments.

Requirements

  • A 4-year degree in Chemistry with Matric Maths on Higher Grade.
  • 2+ years experience in a lab setting for the production of skincare products.
  • Proficient in quality control procedures for batches.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent time management, organizational, and writing skills.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office Skills.
  • Ability to work independently and be a good team player.
  • Responsible, dependable, enthusiastic, punctual, and trustworthy.
  • Accurate and attentive to detail.
  • Ability to adapt to change quickly.
  • Ability to prioritize and maintain work performance under pressure.
  • Dedication and commitment.
  • Ability to apply logic to all situations.
