The OSHE & Training Officer is responsible for enhancing the skills, performance, productivity, and quality of work of all employees through targeted training initiatives. This role entails the development and implementation of organizational training strategies, management of safety standards in the workplace, and ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation. The Officer will work to devise, implement, assess training outcomes, and promote a culture of continuous improvement and safety across the organization.

Qualification and background:

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Education, Health & Safety, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in training and development, with proven expertise in designing and executing successful training programs.
  • Familiarity with both traditional and modern training methods, including mentoring, coaching, on-the-job training, e-learning, workshops, and simulations.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, capable of interacting effectively with all organizational levels.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to plan and manage time effectively.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and database management.
  • Fluent in English, with outstanding written and oral communication skills.
