PURPOSE OF POSITION

The Digital Transformation Solution Architect plays a crucial role in leading the design and implementation of technology solutions that drive digital acceleration for business, working closely with cross-functional teams, including IT and business systems teams, OpCo SLT (Senior Leadership Team), and external technology providers, to identify and understand client needs and design and deliver innovative solutions that drive digital acceleration. This role is responsible for architecting innovative digital solutions, collaborating with stakeholders, and ensuring the successful implementation of technology initiatives.



QUALIFICATIONS , EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

  • Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology or equivalent
  • Proven experience as a solution architect or similar role in digital transformation projects.
  • Strong technical skills in solution design, system integration and software development methodologies.
  • Valid code 08 drivers license.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to generate innovative ideas and solutions.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Lead the development and implementation of technology solutions:

  • Collaborate with internal and OpCo teams to understand their business goals and identify technology solutions that will drive digital acceleration.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to plan, design and develop technology solutions that meet business needs.
  • Oversee the implementation of technology solutions, including testing, quality assurance, and deployment.

Technical Leadership and Implementation Oversight

  • Act as the team's technical liaison, providing guidance and support to OpCos and other stakeholders on technical matters related to the company's technology solutions.
  • Provide technical guidance and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand and troubleshoot issues.
  • Oversee the implementation of technology solutions, including testing, deployment, and post-implementation support. Proactively identify and communicate potential technical risks and issues to business and provide recommendations to mitigate them.

Systems & Tools Road mapping

  • Contribute to the development of the company's overall technology strategy and roadmaps.
  • Ensure that technology solutions are developed and implemented in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Identify emerging technologies and trends that can drive innovation and digital acceleration.
  • Participate in strategic planning sessions to align technology initiatives with business goals and objectives.

Process Improvement & Optimisation

  • Keep abreast of innovative technologies and trends in the industry and identify opportunities for our OpCos to leverage these technologies to drive digital acceleration.
  • Evaluate and recommend innovative technologies for adoption by the group or OpCo.
  • Collaborate with other teams within the organization to share knowledge and expertise on innovative technologies and trends.

Analyses

  • Utilize data analysis techniques and tools, including Power BI, to extract insights and drive data-driven decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain data reports and dashboards that provide actionable insights into business performance.
  • Collaborate with internal analysis team members to enhance data visualization and reporting capabilities. Use data analysis to identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
