We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Laboratory Supervisor to lead our mining laboratory team.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure full compliance to laboratory QC/QA procedure.
- Supervise / manage subordinates.
- Monitor, co-ordinate and manage career development subordinates i.e. mentoring and coaching.
- Perform administrative duties.
- Promote safety and comply with risk policies, procedures and practices
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and develop team members.

Requirements
Desired minimum educational experience needed in key areas of responsibility to be considered for the position
- Relevant B degree or B Tech in Analytical Chemistry.
- Ability to work with little supervision.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in mining laboratory environment
- Good command of the English language, both written and spoken.
- Be able to work in a fast pace multi-task environment and work under pressure.
- Computer literate
