Laboratory Technicians (Mining)

Description

We are seeking diligent and detail-oriented Laboratory Technicians to join our mining laboratory team.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine and specialized analytical tests on mining samples using laboratory equipment and instrumentation.
• Prepare and analyze samples using techniques such as ICP-MS, XRF, and wet chemistry methods.
• Record and interpret analytical data accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laboratory work area.
• Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment according to standard operating procedures.
• Adhere to safety protocols and environmental regulations at all times.
• Assist with data analysis and report preparation as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and optimize laboratory processes.

Requirements

Desired minimum educational experience needed to be considered for the position

• Sc or National Diploma in Analytical Chemistry
• 2 years experience in mining laboratory environment.
• Relevant Technical Training and Experience (Instrument Specific XRF, AAS, ICP,)
• Show potential to be develop in Supervisory position.
• Good command of the English language, both written and spoken.
• Computer literate.
