Yard Supervisor

WHAT WILL YOU DO:

• Effective supervision of Yard staff to ensure optimum efficiency of the operations function.
  
  Implement receiving and logistics procedures to control stock losses.
  
  Delivery and route planning.
  
  Maintain customer goodwill via quality service and timeous deliveries.
  
  Responsible for effective dispatching of stock

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  Excellent knowledge of building products and stock management procedures.(Receiving, dispatch, stocking, picking)

  Good planning and organizing skills.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum Grade 11 (New Curriculum) or Grade 12 (NSSC-O) with 22 marks.
  
  Minimum 2 years experience in a Yard / Logistics position at supervisory level within the Building or Retail industry.
  
  Possession of a valid Code B Drivers License would be an advantage.
